The Best Custom Shutters, Blinds & Shades!
Proudly Serving the entire Wasatch Front

Congratulations to the latest Share Your Shutters winner: Chelsey Rushworth! Her winning submission to #ShareYourShutters highlights a few spots in her home decked out with stylish new Polywood faux wood plantation shutters that beautifully complement both her ornate window frames and modern decor.

Neutral Living Area With Shutters

Chelsey, who some may recognize on Instagram as Taste of Coffey, is a Boston-based interior designer with a unique eye for matching colors in her decorating. A quick look at her photos shows how she combines neutrals and vivid colors for a look that’s welcoming and comfortable, but extremely stylish at the same time.

Chelsey even has some advice for designers in Salt Lake City and around the country:

  • Have a color scheme in mind. When you decorate a room, you can always adjust colors to accessorize it. Make sure to utilize colors from either your interior color pallet or ones that can accentuate it.

  • Be fluid in your color usage. I use shutters that are vibrant white and most of my furniture is gray, both weathered wood and fabric. So I chose to mix in pops of white and color accents.

Decorated Room With Polywood Plantation Shutters

Not only does Chelsey have a great eye for color, but her use of space in her home is on point, too. From her chairs that guide the eyes vertically to the wall and her plantation shutters, to the evenly-spaced accessories in her shelving, Chelsey’s space is fashion-forward, functional, and extremely cozy without ever looking overdecorated.

As our contest winner for Fall, we’ll send Chelsey a gift card to a Boston-area restaurant, in addition to having her designs featured here. To see more of her work, take a look at her personal site at TasteofCoffey.com.

And if you believe the shutters in your home look great enough to be our next winner, share a photo on social media with the hashtag #ShareYourShutters. We want to see another Salt Lake City home to take next season’s prize!
